WHERE DO YOU FALL ON THE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL CONTINUUM?

Equipping Christian Educators to be effective instruments for Christ.

Within the Christian community we all strive to be as effective as we can with the resources God has placed at our disposal. Unfortunately, we often also feel these resources are for us alone, not the body of Christ as a whole. We all work very hard to manage the financial, personal, and physical resources in order to build a ministry, which serves our community with the greatest impact possible. See the Light, Be the Light is a Ministry by design, to do just that. Our focus is to bring a sprit of unity in areas we may all find of common interest, Christian Education. Across our community we have a group of Educational visionaries, who are working to equip children to become disciples for Christ. Some of these folks see Christian Education as an outreach ministry, others see it as a covenant calling, but all strive to serve the body of Christ through education and the development of a biblical world view. I challenge all of us to gain a broad vision of the type of impact we can all create if, when possible, we come together with a common vision within the body of Christ.

I’m working towards creating an environment of cooperation between the Christian Schools, Churches and Christian Business leaders to develop a relationship together, which expresses a commitment of excellence in the area of Christian Education. To achieve this vision we must first, ourselves, see beyond our own vision and adopt and attitude of cooperation, in which we see our own role as being a part of the family of God. Although this ministry focuses mainly of the training of the teachers who serve in Christian education, our greater impact is to bring the entire community together, seeking to create disciples of our future leaders. These disciples (Students) will certainly impact each of your personal communities as they grow and serve in the family of Christ.
